On this, the first anniversary of the Russian Federation invasion of Ukraine, a sovereign nation, the European Academy of Sciences (EurASc) reiterates its original condemnation of this illegal military action:
”Today, February 24th 2022, the world witnessed the start of a war in Ukraine. We have reached a crucial junction for human civilization which calls for efforts towards sustainable development, as the only possibility for lasting global prosperity. As scientists and scholars, we wish to promote values such as dialogue, diplomacy and peace.
