- Activation of small molecules with industrial, environmental, and biological significance
- Catalysis under mild, sustainable, and unconventional conditions for the synthesis of value-added compounds (e.g., functionalization of inert alkanes, oxidation of VOCs, carbon-carbon coupling, carbon dioxide utilization, water splitting, and oxygen reduction reactions)
- Polynuclear and supramolecular structures, including metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)
